After more than 30 years working outdoors in construction, The Hat Man founder knew the trade-off: traditional trucker caps are familiar and easy to wear, while many traditional sun hats can feel bulky or out of place. He set out to bridge that gap.
TRUCKET began taking shape in winter 2022 and was refined through drawings and prototypes over several years before The Hat Man website launched in 2025. The result is a hybrid design that combines trucker-inspired style with a soft brim intended to add shade around the ears and neck.
